M.A. Student Michelle Al-Ferzly Presents at Symposium

M.A. student Michelle Al-Ferzly was among the presenters at the 22nd Annual Graduate Student Symposium on the History of Art.

Held at The Barnes Foundation, the event was co-hosted by Bryn Mawr's History of Art Department and brought together graduate students from nine mid-Atlantic colleges and universities to present current research.

Michelle is studying Medieval art with Professor Alicia Walker. Her interests are the cross-cultural interactions between the Byzantine and Islamic worlds. She received a bachelor's in Art History and Economics from Wellesley College in 2014. Michelle has completed internships in the Islamic Art departments of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
