Bryn Mawr College’s Special Collections has received a $40,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The grant will be used to research steps the College can take to better manage the storage of the collection, which is made up of approximately 50,000 rare books; 5 million pages of archives and manuscripts; nearly 6,000 art prints and drawings; more than 7,000 art photographs; 6,000 Classical and Near Eastern archaeological objects; and important collections of African, Asian and Native American art and cultural artifacts, including many pre-Columbian Peruvian textiles.
