The below message was sent to faculty, staff, and students on September 8, 2025.
Dear Bryn Mawr Community,
I am writing today to invite you to nominate students, both undergraduate and graduate, to participate in the President’s Student Advisory Council I will be piloting this year. This group of 10-15 students will meet with me monthly as a think tank and brainstorming group as we center students today and in building the College’s next chapter. We seek students of all years and backgrounds who represent the broadest diversity of thought on campus and can strategize with me on behalf of the institution.
The nomination form is open, and you may nominate as many students as you would like or nominate yourself. The window for nominations closes on September 22, 2025. Participants must be in residence for the full academic year and able to commit to monthly one-hour meetings. Senior leaders and I will select participants who will be formally invited to the group at the beginning of October. The Dean of the Undergraduate College, the President of the SGA, and the Presidential Fellow will also be invited to group meetings.
