What's happening at your internship? We would love to hear what kind of work you are doing!
I have created a differential equation modeling energy flow through walls. We are also currently helping the Philadelphia Solar Energy Association create fifth and sixth grade learning modules that incorporate math into solar education.
Why did you apply for this internship?
I wanted to get experience in math modeling with a topic I am interested in.
What has been your favorite part of this internship?
I learned how to build a website, and also got to join in a few zoom calls with the executive director of the Philadelphia Solar Energy Association.
What has been the biggest challenge you have faced at your internship?
The biggest challenge I have found is learning how to speak up for yourself/ask questions of your supervisor for clarification.
