Center for Professional Development

The Center for Professional Development offers many practical, relevant, and timely professional development, test prep and certificate programs to help you gain the skills, knowledge, and credentials you need to excel and advance in your workplace and career. Whether it’s online, in a classroom or at your workplace, our programs and certificates are designed with your success in mind. Our continuing education (CE) programs are designed for the professional social worker, counselor, and marriage and family therapists.
 
We offer a variety of on-campus and online programs so that professionals may refresh existing knowledge or acquire new skills, earn continuing education credit (CEUs and/or Act 48) to maintain licensure, certifications, and to advance your careers.

Continuing Education Accreditation

Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research is a Council on Social Work Education accredited school and therefore, a PA pre-approved provider of social work continuing education. These credit hours satisfy requirements for LSW/LCSW, LPC and LMFT biennial license renewal. Social workers outside of Pennsylvania or other licensed individuals should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval.
