The Next Chapter Pilot Grants
About the Pilot Grants
Bryn Mawr College’s distinction is rooted in its commitment to academic rigor and in its ever-evolving approach to educating students to the highest levels. This includes close alignment between undergraduate and graduate study in a small liberal arts context; a deep commitment to a multi-generational community comprised largely of women; and a willingness to look honestly at the past and use those learnings to inform how the College enacts its mission in the future.
2025-26 Grants Awarded
To make distinctive contributions over the next 10 years, we need to pilot the community’s best ideas. See below for the grants awarded during the 2025-26 academic year and see our ideas in action.

Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges invite academic departments, programs, and cross-unit collaborative groups to propose achievable, innovative pilot projects that promise meaningful outcomes for students, support faculty innovation, and enhance the academic experience across both campuses.
Bryn Mawr Sustainability Seed Grants
Grants are provided for projects such as better integrating sustainability in the academic curriculum, waste reduction and diversion, renewable energy and energy conservation, building standards, environmental justice, efficient technology, promotion of new sustainable practices, sustainable procurement, and sustainable food sourcing.
