We, the 2017 Senior Class presidents, are reaching out to you about the current campaign to bring Michelle Obama to speak at our graduation. Last weekend we made a video message, which was released on social media this afternoon in order to get her attention. We hope all of you will be apart of this effort not just by liking the video on Facebook, but also sharing it within your own networks! Learn how
Bryn Mawr's mission to forge powerful women through rigorous academics and close-knit community mirrors Michelle Obama's advocacy for women's education, both nationally and internationally. The legacy of her tenure is a rallying cry for female empowerment.
As seniors we have been asking ourselves — How do we envision change in the world? In what ways will we engage with global questions? What do we expect from ourselves and from our peers? We believe there is no one better to address this than Michelle Obama. Please help us in our efforts. #MichelleAtTheMawr
Thank you so much for your participation!
