Postbac Student Christina Bax Takes Gold in the 100-Mile Gran Fondo National Championship

Christina Bax, a student in Bryn Mawr's postbac pre-med program, won gold in the Gran Fondo National Championship on Sunday, Sept. 20, in Frederick, Md. Christina finished the 100-mile race through several state parks, municipal forests, fields, and the Catoctin Mountain National Park, posting the fastest combined time on four hill climbs of 10,561-feet elevation to win the Collegiate and the 19–34 age categories, as well as a bronze medal in the overall women's category.
