Neuroscience

The desire to understand human and animal behavior in terms of nervous system structure and function is longstanding.

The field of neuroscience emerged as an interdisciplinary approach to studying the nervous system and behavior. This study combines techniques and perspectives from medicine, biology, psychology, philosophy, and physiology, as well as emerging fields such as computation and cognitive science, to yield new insights into the workings of the nervous system and behavior.

More information about the Bi-College Neuroscience program is available on the department page on Inside Bryn Mawr.
