Philadelphia Within Reach

Our campus is about 11 miles west of Philadelphia, close enough for the city to become part of your Bryn Mawr experience. Full-time Bryn Mawr undergraduate students receive a free SEPTA UPass for the fall and spring semesters, with access to SEPTA buses, trolleys, subways, and Regional Rail. You can head into the city for an internship, a museum visit, a performance, a meal with friends, or a little time away from campus, then return to Bryn Mawr by public transit.

Commute Across the Tri-Co

Bryn Mawr students are part of the Tri-Co community, which includes Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore. The Blue Bus helps students travel between Bryn Mawr and Haverford for classes, events, and everyday Bi-Co plans. The Tri-Co Van extends that access to Swarthmore, giving students a practical way to reach classes, programs, and opportunities across the wider Tri-Co community.
