Upcoming Lecture on Early State Formation in Oaxaca, Mexico

Dr. Elsa M. Redmond of the American Museum of Natural History will present a lecture entitled "Investigating Early State Formation in Oaxaca, Mexico" on Tuesday, November 10 at 4:15 pm, in Dalton 300.

Dr. Redmond was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 2014. She has conducted field research in the Oaxaca Valley since the 1970s, and earned her Ph.D. from Yale University.

This public lecture is sponsored by Bryn Mawr College's Department of Anthropology, Department of Classical & Near Eastern Archaeology, and the Latin American, Latino & Iberian Peoples & Cultures Program.
