Space is available for the Spring 2019 Praxis Fieldwork Seminar Course "Promoting Change through Service - Public Health/Human Services," taught by Professor James Martin of the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. As part of the course, you can develop an internship or in-depth volunteer experience with a local health organization or community, or you can build in the work you are already doing with a health organization or community.

If you would like to develop an internship or in-depth volunteer experience with a local community or organization (non-profit, NGO, political, healthcare, educational, mental health, etc.) as part of a course

OR  

If you have an internship, are volunteering regularly, or are engaged deeply with a local community or organization (non-profit, NGO, political, healthcare, educational, mental health, etc.) and would like to build it into a course this seminar might be a great fit for you. 

If you are interested, register to attend the Learning Plan Preparation Workshop for this course on Thursday, December 6th from 7-8:30 pm in Dolwen, Cambrian Row (Civic Engagement Office, 2nd floor). Please also complete an application before attending.
