Computer Science Professor Doug Blank on Deep Learning and Deep Integration via Jupyter

April 23, 2018

Professor of Computer Science Doug Blank gave a talk at the recent Jupyter Pop-Up in Boston detailing the work on deep learning he and his colleagues have done with Project Jupyter to make their work, and the work of their students, more open, accessible, and reproducible. Project Jupyter exists to develop open-source software, open-standards, and services for interactive computing across many programming languages.

In August, Blank and one of his students, Nicole Petrozzo '18, who was introduced to Jupyter in her first-year seminar, and last used it for her senior thesis exploring recommender systems using deep learning, will give a joint presentation "Jupyter Graduates!" at JupyterCon in New York.
