Mikecia Witherspoon '12 Named Government Relations Officer at Community College

Mikecia Witherspoon '12 has joined the Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) as the school's government relations officer.
Prior to her role at CCP, Witherspoon served as deputy chief of staff for Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney.
Witherspoon, who majored in political science at Haverford, visited campus in November 2019 as part of a panel of alumnae working in communications and media hosted by the Career & Civic Engagement Office. Click here to read a Q&A with Witherspoon from that time.
