Dear Staff Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce an important staff vacation policy update aimed at promoting greater equity across our community.
Effective January 1, 2026, the number of annual vacation days for exempt and non-exempt staff will be equalized at 22 days per calendar year. This change reflects our commitment to fair and consistent benefits for all employees and recognizes the valuable contributions each of you makes to the college.
Additionally, for 2026, the senior staff has decided to extend our Winter Break to include Friday, January 2nd as a college holiday. Therefore, Winter Break will begin on December 24, 2025, and end on January 2, 2026, making January 5, 2026, the first business day of the new year.
