Sustainable Campus Dining Practices

At Bryn Mawr, sustainability shows up in the choices you make every day, including where and how you eat. Our Dining Services team sources seasonal local foods when possible, and offers plant-forward options at New Dorm’s rootED station. Across campus dining, real plates, cups, glasses, utensils, and our new orange reusable containers at UnCommon Grounds help make each meal part of a more thoughtful campus experience.

Faith-Based Meals

Dining Services works with students to plan around faith-based dining needs and religious observances, including but not limited to Passover, Ramadan, and halal meal requests. While Bryn Mawr does not offer full-service kosher or halal dining, some items and accommodations may be available, including prepared-to-order halal meat and kosher options during Passover. Students are encouraged to connect with Dining Services early so our team can help them understand available options and plan meals with care.
