Building the Next Chapter
President Cadge is building on two years of strategic planning work completed before she arrived and all that she learned in her first year on the job. In 2025-26, we will build innovative approaches to the College’s next chapter through a strategic plan, a comprehensive physical plan for the campus, and pilot grants open to all members of the on-campus college community.
Innovating Together
On January 28, President Cadge hosted a Current Topics in Higher Education luncheon in partnership with DLR Group. During the event, she shared an overview of the five strategic pillars guiding the College’s next chapter, which emerged from extensive community feedback gathered during the fall semester. The five strategic pillars for the next chapter are: redoubling our commitment to academic excellence and distinction; providing holistic support for students and alumnae/i; advancing a community approach to access and inclusion; enhancing visibility, reputation, and impact; and modernizing infrastructure, facilities, and operating systems.
Campus Planning Process
DLR Group also provided an update on the comprehensive campus planning process, highlighting how Bryn Mawr College’s history of campus planning is informing this new phase of work. The team presented preliminary recommendations related to the academic and student experience and invited feedback from attendees. Participants engaged with guiding questions such as: “What does enhancing the academic experience mean to you?”, “What does enhancing the student experience mean to you?”, and “What does an accessible, inclusive, and sustainable experience at Bryn Mawr look like?”
