What are you most excited about as you leave Bryn Mawr?
I've spent the past year conducting research in Dr. Tamara Davis's lab and have loved every aspect of the experience. Looking forward, I'm excited to have the opportunity to focus on gaining more research experience and developing my technical skills.
Is there any class, moment, or professor that was especially memorable or impactful?
In one of my first classes during my freshman year, Dr. Lisa Watkins told me she knew I was going to be a Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (BCMB) major. At the time, I didn't intend to major in STEM at all (much less the one with the most course requirements), and I was sure she was wrong. By the time I got to the end of the semester, the encouragement and support I received from Dr. Watkins, as well as other professors, gave me the confidence to start seeing myself as a STEM person, and I declared my BCMB major the following year!
Any advice for incoming students?
