360° Course Clusters allow students to explore a key issue or question from multiple perspectives and disciplines. Each course cluster includes an experiential learning component like travel or community work.

Emily Balch Seminars
This isn’t your typical college writing seminar. Our E-Sems are interdisciplinary English courses that allow students to hone their college-level reading and writing while also exploring a topic that is of interest to them.

Tri-Co Philly Program
The Tri-Co Philly Program is a semester-long experience that focuses on the diversity, complexity, innovation, and systems of Philadelphia. Students from Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore all engage in curricular and co-curricular activities in the city.

Internships & Externships
These opportunities allow you to gain an inside view of an industry or organization, develop new skills and apply what you've learned at Bryn Mawr, make connections with professionals, and learn more about your future career interests.

THRIVE
The THRIVE Program is a 10-week course that assists the first-year class in getting to know the community, their peers, and themselves.

Praxis
Mawrters have opportunities to apply their knowledge through community-based learning called Praxis. This experiential learning program integrates theory, practice, and reflective thinking through relevant fieldwork
Global Learning & Study Abroad
Each year, about one-third of the junior class studies abroad, usually for one semester, at one of more than 90 approved programs.
Beyond traditional programs abroad, Bryn Mawr students participate in internships around the world, international fellowships, overseas research and courses, and summer study abroad.

Cool Classes
Mawrters do interesting things in the classroom and extend that learning beyond four walls to a world full of possibilities.
