Director of Counseling

Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a Director of Counseling.

THE POSITION

Provide leadership for the operations and practices of the BMC Health and Wellness Counseling Service, including, but not limited to: cultivate a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment; supervision of mental health services; personnel management; information management. Development and maintenance of policies, protocols, and procedures; preparation of reports; financial analysis; general budgeting; maintaining proper licensure standards; development, marketing and implementation of wellness and outreach programs.

The ideal candidate will have a Master degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or closely related field from an accredited college/university and a PA clinical license.  The candidate will have 3-5 years clinical experience providing group therapy and demonstrated success in working with students from traditionally underrepresented groups, first generation students, LGBTQ-identifying students, international students, students with disabilities. 

The schedule for the position is mid-August through May.  (.80 FTE)
