Beginning Monday, October 12, Facilities Services and Matt’s Landscaping Service will be replacing the existing wooden three-rail fence surrounding Lake Vickers.
The existing fence has reached the end of its useful life and will be replaced as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to restore and maintain the Lake Vickers area. This work is part of a broader series of improvements completed at Lake Vickers over the summer to enhance and preserve this area of the Bryn Mawr College campus.
The work is expected to take approximately 3–4 days, weather permitting.
During construction, the campus community may experience noise associated with excavation and fence installation. Fence materials will be delivered and staged near the pond, and two 30-yard dumpsters will be placed in the area to support removal of the existing fence and construction cleanup.
