Build time to write into your schedule by joining faculty colleagues at the Writing Center every week on Wednesdays 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Fridays 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. for an informal drafting session. Drop in any time; stay as long as you like. There are quiet spots to hole up and a social writing table for serious writers who like to chat. Over the last two semesters, the small-but-mighty group of regulars has written, in total, 7 articles, 1 book review, 1 book chapter, 1 complete draft of a book manuscript, and had a proposal for a special issue accepted at a top journal (!).
