THRIVE, which is a required first-year seminar course that all first-year students take in the fall semester of the first-year. THRIVE is centered around helping our first-year students with their transition to college by introducing students to their peers, the larger Bryn Mawr community, campus resources, and the City of Philadelphia. THRIVE Facilitator Expectations: Facilitators must be dedicated to helping first-year students connect with their community. Facilitators must attend all pre-semester training sessions, all weekly one-hour facilitator training meetings, and all class meetings. Facilitators must be available to teach one 75-minute class either Thursday or Friday afternoon per week for 10 weeks during the fall semester, from the first week of classes until prior to Thanksgiving. Facilitators must adhere to the THRIVE curriculum. Facilitators must keep accurate attendance records and submit these records by 12PM the day following each class. If you are interested in becoming a THRIVE 2026 Facilitator, please complete the THRIVE Facilitator Interest Form by Friday, April 10th. Please note that those interested in returning as a facilitator must also complete the interest form.
