In honor of International Education Week, the Office of Global Engagement sponsors an annual photo contest each fall to highlight the variety of ways that Bryn Mawr students engage with international experiences.
Have you been wanting to share your perfect snapshot from your time abroad or as an international student at Bryn Mawr? Now is the time - share your entry in this fall's photo contest:
There are two distinct parts of the photo contest, each with three categories for submissions.
1. Experiences Abroad: Open to current undergraduate students who have participated in a college-sponsored international experience, such as study abroad, summer programs (ex: Avignon, Ghana, Jordan), internships, a Hanna Holborn Gray fellowship, or a 360 program.
- A Day in The Life – Choose a photo that captures a cultural immersion experience that you had while abroad.
- The Scenic Route – Do you have a photo featuring striking natural scenery? This is your place to share!
- Stunning Skylines – Show us the best cityscapes, beautiful buildings or architecture you encountered abroad.
2. International Student Experiences: Open to current undergraduate international students.
- The Bryn Mawr Experience – Show us a photo that you think best captures your Bryn Mawr experience.
- Philadelphia Stories – Submit your photos taken while exploring the city of Philadelphia!
- Hometown Pride – Show us your hometown, or how you’ve brought a piece of home with you to Bryn Mawr!
Winners and runners-up will receive prizes and will have their work featured at the Photo Contest Reception during International Education Week, as well as on social media, the College website, and/or in and around the Global Engagement Office.
