The Department of Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology and the Death and Beyond Graduate Seminar will present a lecture from Professor Glenn Schwartz (Johns Hopkins University) entitled "Era of the Living Dead: Memory, Sacrifice and the 'Royal' Tombs at Umm el-Marra, Syria" on Monday, November 6 in the Dorothy Vernon Room, New Dorm. Lunch will be available from 12-12:30 p.m., and the talk will be from 12:30-2 p.m. We hope to see you there!
