Basketball vs Muhlenberg- Fight for Literacy
Literacy is the foundation on which our society builds full and productive lives. However, The National Center for Education Statistics states 54% of U.S. adults read below the equivalent of a sixth-grade level, and 64% of U.S. fourth graders do not read proficiently. This multigenerational challenge impacts everyone. Champions for Literacy use the power of sports to bring awareness to the importance of childhood reading.
