Bi-Co Theater Presents: Sonnets for An Old Century
Sonnets For An Old Century
By Jose Rivera
Directed by Jennifer Kidwell
Many of us won’t stand at the crossroads of the next new century, but we may remember the momentousness of the last. In José Rivera’s Sonnets for an Old Century, an ensemble of performers celebrates the mundaneness and the extraordinariness of being a person in the United States now and then. Through the voices of 22 characters, we are touched by love, fear, wonder, resentment, lies, relationships, loss: the specific and shared experiences of human beings.
