Electrochemistry is an interdisciplinary field with many applications we see and use in our daily life. Come to hear about electrochemistry applications in batteries, catalysis, nanomaterials and behavioral neuroendocrinology! A social lunch will take place and the event will feature a hands-on demo session where students will conduct their own electrochemical experiment.
This event is open to Chemistry majors, Chemistry minors and other students studying in the Physical Sciences to learn about electrochemistry.
This is the first ever Electrochemistry day event that will happen as part of the "Big Idea for Academic Collaboration in the Bi-Co Pilot Grants".
