Join us for a classic sip and paint style event hosted by local Black-owned business Sippin Pics. Sparkling beverages with straws will be served. Materials provided. Space is limited. First come, first served.

We will be celebrating esteemed writers Maya Angelou and Laurence Dunbar by creating a painting depicting previously caged birds flying free. This references Dunbar's beautiful poem "Sympathy" and Angelou's famous autobiography I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.
