This session will cover:
Image Editing & Resizing — learn essential tools and techniques to make your photos web-ready without losing quality
Placeholder & Stock Image Guidance — best practices for choosing, labeling, and uploading images that enhance content and maintain accessibility
Copyright & Usage Rules — a refresher on image rights, fair use, and proper attribution for digital content
This session kicks off the Digital Images Basics certificate with a focus on making visuals work smarter across Bryn Mawr’s web ecosystem. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how to select, optimize, and publish images that are consistent, compliant, and visually polished — bringing clarity and creativity to every page.
To earn the Digital Images Basics Certificate, participants must complete the following training sessions:
