Session 3: Writing for the Web: Crafting Engaging User Experiences (UX/IA)

This session will cover:

Landing Page Essentials — best practices for first impressions, visual hierarchy, and responsive layouts.

Narrative Flow Online — techniques for scannable intros, compelling subheads, and keeping readers engaged.

Calls to Action (CTAs) — what they are, how to use them, and why they drive effective user journeys.

Inclusive Language & Accessibility — ensuring your content is welcoming, readable, and usable for all audiences.

This session concludes the Writing for the Web certificate by connecting storytelling, structure, and design with inclusive communication practices. You’ll leave with practical strategies for creating digital experiences that are clear, compelling, and user-centered across the College’s web presence.
