What Alternative might there be to the dominant but unsustainable paradigms and practices of Modernization? International Studies and The Center for Social Sciences invite you to a Book Talk by Michael Allen, professor of International Studies and Political Science.
Can countries develop? The preface will be made available ahead of the talk. It previews what is addressed in the seven chapters of the manuscript. Oral and written comments on particular chapters would be greatly appreciated. A ten-point summary of key insights from the research will also be made available at the talk.
