Career+Civic: Behind Every Trade: Careers at DTCC
Every time someone buys or sells a stock, a bond, or an ETF, something has to happen behind the scenes to make sure the trade actually settles, meaning that the securities and the cash change hands correctly, on time, every time. That's DTCC (The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation). We're the financial market infrastructure that sits at the center of the U.S. capital markets, processing the vast majority of securities transactions in the country and keeping the system safe, stable, and moving.
Most students have never heard of us. That's exactly why this session is worth 45 minutes of your evening.
Join Nicole Huynh, Chief of Staff for Clearing & Securities Services at DTCC — and a Bryn Mawr alumna, former varsity field hockey player, and current member of the College's Board of Trustees — for a conversation about what DTCC does, why it matters, and how early-career talent builds a career here.
