Career+Civic: F-1 Visa Optional Practical Training (OPT) Information Session - Spring 2026

The F-1 Visa Optional Practical Training (OPT) Information Session is offered to students completing their academic program in May 2026. Charity Alinda, Director for International Student & Scholar Advising will provide information about eligibility requirements, application procedures, and College policy regarding Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Pre-Completion Optional Practical Training. Lauren Platt from the Career & Civic Engagement will present about job search strategies and resources available. *Please feel free to bring your dinner to the session! This event is co-sponsored by the Office of International Student and Scholar Advising at the Impact Center and the Career & Civic Engagement Center.
