Cartooning Workshop with New Yorker Cartoonists
Calling all students! Love to draw? Ever wanted to try your hand at cartooning? Join three New Yorker cartoonists, including Bryn Mawr alumna Maggie Larson '10, for a cartooning workshop and conversation about pathways to creative careers. Cartoonists Liza Donnelly, Bishakh Som and Maggie Larson are on campus for the prior night's regional premiere of Women Laughing (a fabulous documentary about female cartoonists at the New Yorker magazine, screening in Goodhart at 7 pm on Thursday, October 1). The screening is open to the entire community. The cartooning session is a special bonus activity for students. Pens, pencils, paper, etc. will be provided. Just bring your ideas, questions and enthusiasm!
