Class of 2026: Join us for a “sweet” tradition
In celebration of the last day of the fall semester, join us on Taylor Drive for a cupcake from the Dia Doce cupcake truck to launch Passing the Lantern! (Gluten-free and vegan options will be available.) December 11, 2025 3-5pm Taylor Drive For more than 30 years, seniors have marked this moment by “passing the lantern” —a gesture of gratitude, celebration, and care for the Mawrters who will follow. Help us honor the tradition by making a gift of any kind: a few dollars, a piece of advice, or both. What matters most is the spirit behind it—the chance to support the Class of 2030 and light the way for the next generation. Why does your support matter? Because every senior’s participation helps keep the Bryn Mawr experience vibrant and strong. The traditions you’ve treasured, the resources you’ve relied on, the sense of belonging you’ve built—all of it has been shaped by generations of Mawrters looking ahead and giving back. Annual donations allow us to provide things like free laundry, free printing, and the Blue Bus! Your contribution, in any amount or form, becomes part of that legacy. Do I have to participate to attend? All seniors are warmly welcome—whether or not you choose to give. We hope you’ll join us to celebrate the end of the semester, enjoy a treat, and honor a tradition that connects us across generations. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Bryn Mawr College welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
