Cultures of Latin: Series/Book Launch
At noon EST on Friday, Feb. 10, Cambridge University Press is hosting a Zoom launch for the Cultures of Latin series edited by Catherine Conybeare, Leslie Clark Professor in the Humanities and chair of Greek, Latin and Classical Studies. Catherine will introduce the series, and then David Townsend -- whose book, Queering Medieval Latin Rhetoric: Silence, Subversion, and Sexual Heterodoxy, came out in January -- will be in conversation with Shane Butler of Johns Hopkins.
