Douglass Day Transcribe-a-thon!
Douglass Day is a crowdsourced transcription project happening nationwide on February 13th, helping to make black historical documents more accessible to the public. No experience necessary to attend. Feel free to stop by for any amount of time, transcribe some documents, and grab a treat from a local black- owned bakery. Douglass Day is organized by LITS with support from Black History Month organizers. Please email mkeenan@brynmawr , teisen@brynmawr.edu, or apivirotto@brynmawr.edu if you have any questions or concerns. We hope to see you there!
Bryn Mawr College welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
