Join the Social Justice Initiative (SJI) and CARLA for a conversation and teach-in with ,O and Inaara Neal-Shiraz!! The theme of the teach-in will be Courage and Compassion, one of the Four Pathways to Justice of the SJI, and much needed during inequitable and unjust times. ,O is a seasoned facilitator and leads workshops for individuals and groups to support their goals of healing our society’s legacies of racism, sexism, homophobia, and class privilege to build healthier and stronger relationships and organizations. S/He is the Healing Justice Coordinator at Philly Thrive, a founding member of Alternatives to Gun Violence, and a long-time Quaker. Inaara Neal-Shiraz works in faith-based nonprofits, creating and implementing programs that strengthen community. She serves as Clerk of the Addressing Racial Wounding Committee for Friends General Conference.
