On Canadian Film Day, please join us for Buffy Sainte-Marie: Carry It On, a film screening of a documentary about musical icon Buffy Sainte-Marie who is a singer, songwriter, and activist of the Cree Nation. For more than five decades, Buffy has been in conversation about issues facing indigenous people in the Americas. Her work has not only set her apart from her peers, but has also allowed her to have an impact felt around the world. This musical journey looks over her career, celebrating the brilliance of her composition, writing and fearless activism.
