Graduate Group End-of-Term Celebration
The End-of-Semester Graduate Group Celebration will be held this Friday, Dec. 15. Join us at 4 p.m. in Old Library 224 for the following presentations:
Emily Shoyer (History of Art): “From Permanent Memorial to Ephemeral Installation: Grada Kilomba’s O Barco / The Boat, Belém, Portugal, Sept. 3 to Oct. 17, 2021”
Seth Levin (Greek, Latin, and Classical Studies): “A Pig among the Dogs: Reading the Gryllus through a Cynic Lens”
Illizt Castillo (Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology): “The Creational Power of Asymmetrical Symmetry: The Middle Minoan and Late Minoan Fantastic Creatures in Aegean Stone Seals and Sealings”
The presentations will be immediately followed by a reception in the Quita Woodward Room.
