Land of Opportunity, film screening and panel discussion

A documentary series that uncovers how federal policy, systemic racism, and urban planning decisions shaped the physical and social landscape of America's cities - starting with Kansas City as a powerful case study. Followed by a panel discussion on segregation and displacement between award-winning filmmaker Nico Giles, Sociology Professor Nora Taplin-Kaguru (Bryn Mawr College), PhD. student Sterling Johnson (Temple University), and Postdoctoral fellow DJ Ferman-Leon (Bryn Mawr College).
