Life in Surgery with Dennis Banducci, M.D., and Sanjiv H. Naidu, M.D.

An opportunity for students who are interested in surgery, and for those who are unsure of what specialty they’d like to pursue, to learn more about the profession.
Dr. Dennis Banducci is an associate clinical professor of surgery in the division of Plastic Surgery at Penn State University. He received his medical degree from the University of California-Davis, and trained at the University of Arizona and Vanderbilt for his residencies in general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery, respectively, with a microsurgery fellowship at Southern Illinois University. He has practiced for 14 years at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, 14 years in private practice, four years with Geisinger, and one year with Penn State Health.
Dr. Sanjiv H. Naidu is a hand and upper extremity surgeon. He received a B.S.E. from Cornell in electrical engineering. His medical school and training took place at the University of Pennsylvania and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is an associate editor for the Journal of Hand Surgery, an American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons oral examiner, and a member of FDA advisory panel for Orthopedics and Rehab Panel. Dr. Naidu holds several patents for hand and wrist replacement devices.
