Staff Association Topics at 12: Listening with Care

As part of the Centering Community, Centering Conversations series, The Impact Center presents Listening with Care, a 45-minute session designed to strengthen community by building listening skills that help one another feel truly heard. We will explore the difference between listening for understanding and listening to understand, and consider how power, identity, and lived experience shape both what is shared and how it is received. We'll share tools to build empathetic listening and creating space for differing perspectives so that we may build trust and strengthen relationships on and off campus.
