Biography
Camilla MacKay came to Bryn Mawr originally as head of Carpenter Library, and since 2015 as Director of Research and Instructional Services and Scholarly Communications Librarian. Before coming to Bryn Mawr, she served as head of the Blegen Library at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens. She has been a senior editor of the open access journal Bryn Mawr Classical Review since 2007; as senior editor, she oversees with the editorial review process and publication of completed reviews. She has taught a class on cultural property at Bryn Mawr, and has worked on excavations and surveys in Greece, Ukraine, and Tunisia, and has published medieval pottery from several sites in Greece and on issues of scholarly communication; a particular interest is promoting open access.
