Bryn Mawr Quantum Day
Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE) is transforming the way we think about computing, communication, and sensing by harnessing the principles of quantum mechanics.
The NSF-funded Quantum Materials, Sensing, and Education Center (QMSEC) at Bryn Mawr College brings together faculty and students from Bryn Mawr College, Johns Hopkins University, Colorado State University, Ursinus College, and the University of Pennsylvania to collaboratively explore the frontiers of quantum materials, quantum sensing, and quantum education. QMSEC also partners with national laboratories and industry leaders to prepare the next generation of quantum scientists and engineers.
In celebration of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, QMSEC is proud to host the Inaugural Bryn Mawr Quantum Day—a dynamic event designed for students, educators, researchers, and curious minds from high school and beyond. Join us to discover what QISE is, why it matters, and how you can be part of this exciting field.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, government lab scientists, and college students and researchers.
From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, invited academic talks will be presented for researchers and educators in the field of Quantum Information Science and Engineering.
You are welcome to attend any portion of the event or stay for the full day. All events will take place in the Park Science Center at Bryn Mawr College.
Registration is free but required by Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
