Part-Time Program Assistant with International Student and Scholar Advising (ISSA)

Bryn Mawr College is accepting applications for a Part-Time Program Assistant with International Student and Scholar Advising (ISSA).

THE POSITION

Vital to the International Student and Scholar Advising program, the Program Assistant will provide

administrative support to ISSA and assists with all aspects of international advising for students, faculty and staff.  This includes assisting the College in maintaining compliance with U.S. government mandated regulations, performing data entry in several different databases, assists with forms and documents, maintains websites, manages high volume of student activities, assists with program management which includes making room reservations, ordering food and supplies, scheduling of events. This is a part time position.  8 hours per week.  Schedule to be determined.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or two years’ relevant experience, ability to learn to use a variety of specialized software and databases including: SEVIS, PeopleSoft, GLACIER, and GPS. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Programs.  Excellent attention to detail.  Demonstrated cross-cultural sensitivity. Ability to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and diverse populations and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism. 

Occasional evening and weekend work is required.
