What kind of a world is it in which zombies sing the body electric in competitive Karaoke? A world in which otherworldly utopians gather at the end of the civilization to contemplate the pressing question of contemporary morality: What Would Walt Whitman Do? Enter the Hepburn Teaching Theater to experience Deathbed Edition, a homegrown, a home-made world made of acting, clowning, mindfulness, 19th century poems, and Instagram videos. Theater Program Director and Professor Mark Lord directs this new performance, created with the company and performed both on stage and online. Deathbed Edition opens the theater program’s 2019-2020 season.

Performances are free and open to the public and will take place Nov. 8-10 and 14-16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hepburn Teaching Theater (Goodhart Hall, Bryn Mawr College).
