Additional Course Info | Class Number: 1956 This is a topics course on modern architecture. Topics vary.; Current topic description: This seminar centers on reading and responding to different species of writing about the built environment. Key subjects will include architectural criticism, architectural history, theory and argument on future architecture, architectural biography, writing on vernacular forms, among others. For each, participants will closely weigh intent and form, and will try their own hand in that mode. We'll reach out broadly, to places both afar and near, and writings both old and new, meeting each week to discuss what we have found, read, and written.
