This course was formerly numbered HART B308; students who previously completed HART B308 may not repeat this course.; Current topic description: Photography in the digital age confronts its future under competing signs of ubiquity and obsolescence. To grasp this condition and its consequences, this seminar will look beyond the historical and material boundaries of the medium and open the study of photography to a thoroughly interdisciplinary, multi-media inquiry.
